[he leaves the room, takes one look at Tricks' old room and promptly turns back, grabbing Cel's pillow from the couch]

[He lets out the tiniest, quickest accidental sigh of relief—!! Despite every gesture Ast had been attempting, that one single word was the first prompt that things would still be okay and, though he was still worried and feeling guilty, he smiled back genuinely and closed his eyes to fall asleep]

SHRIEK CEL STOP BEING CUTE IN AST'S BED

[Ast noticed, but only turns over -- he's too tired to ask Cel to turn around so there won't be any awkward hugging in the morning PLUS HE KNOWS CEL'S FEET SMELL BAD]

still waking up Ast feels uncomfortably warm so he's shoving at what he thinks are his blankets smothering him]

is what Cel would say if he were any kind of awake but being so exhausted that is not the case, but! Ast successfully removes Cel from the awkward hugging]

[so in the end Cel is still flopped on Ast's bed, not having fallen out of it like the couch but seemingly rather enjoying himself here. Great.

Ast sighs and rolls back around, not exactly dying to have the talk with Cel plus he's still tired as well from the clubbing!]

AND AFTER A GREAT NIGHT'S SLEEP FINALLY, Cel is wide awake pretty early on and just sitting up in bed and waiting for Ast to wake up............. and probably creepily staring at him for the most part]

[Ast is crying on the inside by the creeperiness HE KNOWS YOU'RE CREEPY BUT STILL -- so he starts pretty badly when he wakes up and has someone staring at him]
